One of their most historical moments was performing under the baton of Robert Shaw at Carnegie Hall’s 100th Birthday Tribute to Marian Anderson.ĭuring the second half, Yannick Nézet-Séguin will conduct the world-class Philadelphia Orchestra and Morgan State University Choir performing Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony, one of the towering masterworks of classical music. The Morgan State University Choir has performed for audiences throughout the United States and worldwide – including the Virgin Islands, Canary Islands, Canada, Africa, Asia, and Europe.
