The regulars figured it out pretty quick. When i did work in a room that used props it was not a secret. I have never seen a prop wearing a badge in nevada though I understand it is sometimes required in California. Nevada gaming regulations require that management identify props and shills on request. because they are actually not hired for that prupose the casinos don't require them to play so they don't have to play games they don't want to play in.Īs to whether people know. While dealers playing on the clock are technically prop players. That is they allow dealers to play on the clock to help start and keep games going.

It is possible there are one or two that I am not aware of. its not on the strip and its biggest game is low limit holdem. In fact I am only aware of one that currently has props. Very few rooms in vegas use hire prop players.
